NELA’s newest Board Member
Georgieanna Svenson- Co-owner of Four Star Limousine, is building relations and opportunities for women in the transportation business.
January 24th, 2011 Salisbury, MA - Georgieanna Svenson; Co-Owner of Four Star Limousine in Salisbury, MA announced today that she has accepted the position as the New England Board member for the NELA (The New England Livery Association). This news comes after Mrs. Svenson connected with the team at the Limo Digest show in Las Vegas in December 2010. As the New Year began and the group reviewed the plans for the year it was obvious that Georgieanna would be a perfect fit as a new member of the Board of Directors.
Mrs. Svenson, brings over twenty-four years in the livery and transportation industry and is committed to excellence every step of the way. She and her husband Brion, are passionate about their work, providing safe and efficient transportation and giving back to the community. They are active members in the Newburyport Chamber of Commerce and Georgieanna connects with several area women’s networking groups, including Women Inspiring Women which has become part of the Seacoast area.

Amazing Children’s Hospital Volunteer, Ms. Josephine Worrell; 98 yrs of age; celebrates 28 years of volunteer service and rides in style for the first time in a Limousine.
Roxbury, MA Fri Dec 3rd, 2010- On Wed Dec 1st, Ms. Josephine Worrell was promptly greeted by 
Georgieanna Svenson; the owner of Four Star Limousine, Toby Hoare; a volunteer at Children’s with Josephine and Peter Gadd her chauffeur who opened the door to a Royal Stretch Limousine and drove her to Children’s Hospital for a retirement party in her honor. This was the very first time Ms. Worell had ever been in a limousine and she was thrilled to be driven in style on this special day.
Ms. Worrell has volunteered at the hospital for 28 years and has contributed approximately 20,000 hours of her time to the many children in need. The staff at Children’s have been extremely grateful for her commitment to the children and wishes there were more Josephine Worrell’s in the community. Josephine who is 98 years of age and has since retired; was honored by the volunteer staff with a huge Thank You party. Josephine has been such a wonderful addition to the volunteer group and has helped in so many ways. As a foster grandparent she has embraced the children and enriched their lives.
When Four Star Limousine connected with Toby Hoare, they were thrilled to donate their limousine for Ms. Worell to enjoy for the day. “Four Star is committed to helping the community and when we heard about Josephine and her commitment to the children we were honored to spend time with her for the day. At 98 years young, she is a woman who truly lives the sprit of giving and shows the world that anything is possible, if you have faith and good people in your life.Toby who has volunteered with her every week for nine years enjoyed her enthusiasm and said “I will miss her bright smile and all the little kisses on the cheek.” He has learned from being with the children that he gets far more than he gives and they have taught me more about class and dignity especially under fire. He was in awe of how they never complained or said “why me”?, “I should be so brave”, Toby said.As part of her gift she received a letter from Governor Duval Patrick and the Mayor Thomas Menino for her commitment to community service. As a resident of Roxbury, MA for many years, she has dedicated her life to enriching the lives of others and the community she lives in. Most of all she received all the love and praise at the hospital from the staff and the children. When asked how she has so much energy and enthusiasm every day, she said that her secret to staying young is to “dance the jig….a slow jig”. As she smiled brightly at everyone in the room, she pulled out her trusty harmonica and began to play a sweet tune.
